Blind Hope is Magic - Haiku

Blind hope is magic I won’t be stuck forever Deep breath, persevere Blind hope is my best weapon in surviving trauma and the depression episodes. During depression, I’m unable to envision experiencing joy once more. The blind faith takes away my fear of never escaping that black hole. If I am patient with myself, this trick works every time.  Photo is of a quick mixed media piece. I recommend mixed media art as a fantastic way to create little messages to yourself that you can put up on your mirror or fridge. As a reminder to show yourself compassion.  Or to provide yourself positive encouragement.

Free Mental Health and Wellness Apps

Even if you don't have a mental illness, (or, lucky you, don’t even suffer from anxiety) you should be assessing your mental health occasionally. And realize that every single person needs to make themselves a priority with selfcare. That includes taking time to check out the resources available to them to make that easier. See a great list of apps here for one aspect – Meditation and Mindfulness .   Incorporate some routines to not only combat stress but to even stay ahead of stress before it gets to a critical level.  Though technology should not be your only tool, I am a big believer in making it one of your tools. Below is a list of free mental health and wellness apps. Because resources should be free and accessible to everyone.
